Daycare Center

This project converted a residential home where home care services were provided for children into a commercial daycare facility for 35 children. Daycare centers are some of the most difficult projects to get approved by jurisdictions. This is due to the stringent nature of the safety regulations involved in taking care of children who are not yet capable of “self preservation”.

The work required providing fire truck access and analysis, fire alarm and sprinkler system, ADA accessibility paths and ramps throughout the facility, accessible bathroom and fixtures, providing adequate parking and drop-off, impact protection barriers, upgraded ventilation systems, enclosed playground and site improvements and code and life safety analysis.

We feel proud to have helped our client, who is an esteemed and well known educator in her local community, navigate and resolve the myriad of requirements that had prevented her from realizing her dream of launching her Daycare facility for many years.
